Project proof

Creative work with measurable reach.

01

The opportunity

Apps and digital pages can function correctly and still feel generic. Stock music and disconnected sound effects often fail to reflect the identity, story, or intended emotional experience of the product. I saw an opportunity to treat sound as part of product design rather than decoration added at the end.

02

My role

  • Write original concepts, lyrics, melodies, and supporting creative direction
  • Perform and direct vocals to match the identity and audience of the experience
  • Engineer, edit, arrange, and refine audio into usable product assets
  • Create music, voice moments, and sound cues for apps, websites, visual stories, and launches
  • Manage the work from initial idea through final export, placement, revision, and release preparation

03

The approach

I begin with the product goal, intended audience, story, and emotional response. From there I develop a sound brief, write and record the material, edit and engineer the audio, and test how it works inside the actual page or application. Timing, volume, pacing, repetition, mobile behavior, file size, and the ability to mute or control playback are considered as part of the user experience.

04

How it supports products

Original audio helps each project establish a recognizable identity. Bookself uses atmospheric and story-led music to deepen its immersive environments. Nagging Cat uses playful voice and sound cues to strengthen character, feedback, and motivation. Music also supports branded pages, launches, visual storytelling, and other digital experiences where sound can make the interaction more memorable.

05

What it demonstrates

This work demonstrates end-to-end creative ownership, multimedia product thinking, quality control, audience awareness, brand development, release coordination, and the ability to connect sound, visuals, interaction, and story into one cohesive experience.

06

What's next

Build a structured audio asset library, document usage and licensing, standardize optimized formats for web and mobile, expand accessibility controls, and use audience testing to learn where audio improves engagement without interrupting usability.
